This week I have been going through the work from week four as I feel nothing really went in from the work I did with me being so stressed out. After going back over these slides I have realised that I was again doubting myself and I had retained more information that I had realised.

The focus in the skills and perspectives module this week has been about research methods used in psychology. I completed a list of as many I could think of then used google to further my list to make it as informal as possible. We then created a group class list based off what we had individually found, in total we found 14 research methods. We then re-separated and allocated one research method to each person in the group, the aim from this is to get a definition of what this method is as well as strengths and weaknesses of using this method in modern day psychology. Near the end of the workshop we shared these with the group.

I have always found speaking in a large group of people very nerve wrecking encase I stumble over my words or say the wrong thing and embarrass myself. I have found the more I do this it is becoming easier as everyone in the group is in the exact same position as me and probably feeling the same worries that I am. I believe that each week I am progressing with this skill as speaking in a group is becoming less of a daunting thing every time I have to do it.
